Stake, a real estate investment platform based in Dubai, has secured US$8 million in a series A fundraising round.
According to the company, it is the largest amount of capital raised by a real estate investment platform in the region.
The money will finance the fintech’s expansion into Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The latest fundraising follows a seed round in June 2021 that brought in $4 million.
Investors include some of the region’s most active venture capital firms, including MEVP, BY Ventures and existing backers Vivium Holding and Combined Growth Real Estate.
