An overwhelming majority of investors in the UAE see the benefit of integrating sustainable investing in their portfolios according to research from UBS.
The global wealth manager’s Investor Sentiment survey found that 93% of UAE investors consider sustainable investing to be a highly important part of their investment strategy.
As many as 69% are currently seeking advice on extending their portfolio allocation to sustainable assets.
The top themes for sustainability among UAE investors were smart mobility, education, healthcare and gender equality.
The survey also found that the majority of investors (77%) in the country are optimistic about their own businesses while more than a third are planning to increase their investments in the stock market over the next six months.
