Standard Chartered names Saudi chief

Mazan Fahad Al Bunyan has been appointed as the chief executive of Standard Chartered Bank’s Saudi operations.

His responsibilities will include overseeing the bank’s operations in the kingdom and leading its expansion in the region.

Standard Chartered launched its operations in Riyadh in June 2021.

Al Bunyan was previously chief executive of Alawwal Invest, the investment subsidiary of Saudi British Bank.

Prior to that, he worked for Deutsche bank as vice president of corporate banking coverage in Saudi Arabia.
