Shuaa Capital bolsters executive board

Dubai-based asset manager Shuaa Capital has appointed a veteran banker to its executive board.

Andre George Sayegh replaces Murshed Abdo Alredaini, who resigned in January.

Sayegh was previously chief executive of First Gulf Bank, a position he held from 2006 until 2021, when FGB merged with National Bank of Abu Dhabi to form First Abu Dhabi Bank.

Prior to that, he was chief operating officer at FGB and also worked for Citibank for 18 years.

He will serve as a board member at Shuaa Capital until the expiry of the board’s term in April 2024.
