Dubai-based wealth manager SH Capital has bolstered its senior leadership team with the appointment of a non-executive chairman and a chief executive.
Akram Skaik has been named as the non-exec chairman. He currently serves as director general of the UAE Golf Federation.
Another industry veteran, Puneet Narula has been named as CEO.
He was previously head of private banking at the Saudi Investment Bank and has also had senior roles at Citibank and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Narula will lead the firm’s expansion across the region. SH Capital, a subsidiary of Stanhope Financial, launched in early 2021 and received its category 3A licence from the Dubai International Financial Centre in June 2021 which allows it to offer digital treasury and asset management services.
