Saudi robo-advisor secures sharia certification

Madkhol, a Saudi-based robo-advisor, has received sharia certification from the Shariyah Review Bureau (SRB).

In addition to robo-advisory services, the platform also offers financial planning and wealth management.

According to the SRB, there are increasing numbers of fintechs and wealth platforms seeking sharia accreditation.

“Year on year, we have been witnessing a rise in digital adoption by the market players,” said Yasser Dahlawi, founder and CEO if SRB.

“Start-ups have been at the forefront of this disruption who seek top technological solutions whilst complying with the sharia requirements.”
