UAE-based financial institution Mashreq has appointed Mohammed Abdel Razek as group head of technology, transformation and information.
Based in Dubai, he will be expected to lead the firm’s technology department as well as the delivery of all digital services.
Razek will also be responsible for adopting new and emerging technology and overseeing technology collaborations with external partners.
He has more than 30 years’ experience which includes a stint with Standard Chartered Bank where he was chief technology officer for Africa and Middle East.
