Lazard Asset Management has appointed Nick Savastano has head of third party distribution for the firm’s Middle East business.
He will be based in Dubai reporting to Farah Foustok, chief executive of Lazard Gulf Limited.
Savastano was previously senior executive at Invesco Middle East and Africa, where he spent 14 years.
Prior to that, Savastano worked at Zurich Middle East where he was head of banking partners between 2000 and 2006.
Lazard AM is a direct subsidiary of Lazard Group and offers equity, fixed-income and alternative investment products.
In 2014, the asset management arm opened a separate office in Dubai, its first in the Mena region.
