Kamco Invest names Saudi CEO

Kuwait-based asset manager Kamco Invest has appointed Mohammed Hamad Al-Faris as chief executive for its Saudi operations.

His hiring comes just over two years after Kamco Invest named Ibrahem AlSharidah as CEO of Kamco Invest Saudi.

Al Faris has previously worked for a number of Saudi banks before joining Kamco Invest.

He spent nearly a decade at Bank Aljazira, where he served as head of private banking and wealth management.

Kamco Invest Saudi manages the Kamco Saudi Equity Fund, which has more than US$213 in assets under management, which the firm claim makes it one of the largest funds in the region not affiliated with a bank.
