Investcorp completes Investis Digital acquisition

acquisitionBahrain-based alternative asset manager, Investcorp, has completed its purchase of Investis Digital. The London-based digital communications company was acquired from private equity group, ECI Partners, and a group of minority investors for an undisclosed sum. Investis employs more than 500 people in nine offices located in the UK, US, Europe and India. It provides digital communications and marketing to corporate clients, a sector that Investcorp believes has “significant market opportunity” as corporates become “increasingly aware of the importance of utilising this medium in stakeholder communication”, according to a statement. The acquisition also expands Investcorp’s technology portfolio having previously invested in the likes of ticketing software firm, Vivaticket, and cybersecurity provider, Securelink.
