Ali Sandila has been appointed as chief executive of the Dubai advisory office of Swiss private bank and wealth manager EFG International.
He will be expected to lead the firm’s expansion efforts in the UAE.
Sandila takes over from Sascha Pietrek, who has stepped down to pursue personal interests.
Based in Dubai, Sandila will report to Francois Farjallah, head of middle east region.
He joined EFG International in 2019 when the firm set up its Dubai office and was appointed as head of private banking in Dubai the same year.
