Dubai enjoyed the second-highest number of real estate transactions since 2017 in the first three months of 2021.
According to figures from the Dubai Land Department’s Real Estate Updates bulletin for March 2021, there were 6,590 deals valued at Dh22.9 billion (US$6.23 billion) in the first three months of 2021.
This represented a year-on-year increase of 43% and 40% for the number and value of transactions respectively.
The figures also showed a significant increase in new investors (5,683) which accounted for 64% of the total number during the quarter.
“The figures revealed the continuity of achieving positive results in 2021, thereby continuing to enhance the trust of local and international investors in Dubai’s attractive and vibrant real estate environment,” stated the bulletin.
