The home of the government of Dubai has debuted an investment platform designed to increase investment in the private sector.
The online platform has been developed by Dubai Municipality and will enable private investors to either submit proposals for joint projects or else become involved in existing investment opportunities.
The value of private sector investment projects on the platform is estimated to be worth more than Dh576.3 million (US$157 million), according to Dubai Municipality.
The platform covers all stages of the investment process, from proposal submission to contract signing, and has an electronic system that allows both foreign and domestic investors to track the implementation and documentation of the investment process, according to Dubai Municipality.
