Asset servicer Apex Group has expanded the remit of its Global Compliance Services business to the Mena market after launching it in the Abu Dhabi General Market.
The move follows Apex’s acquisition of risk and compliance consultancy Praesidium Advisory which added clients in both the ADGM and Dubai International Finance Centre.
The services offered include regulatory authorisation, compliance and AML outsourcing, technology advisory, private placement compliance, client assets compliance, outsourced finance officer services, advisory for conventional and Islamic finance and company formation.
“Managers are continuing to domicile in UAE as they seek supportive international business jurisdictions and access to key investor markets,” said Hari Bhambra, global head of compliance solutions, Apex Group.
“The launch of Apex’s Compliance Solutions in the ADGM is a demonstration of our continuing commitment to providing a locally delivered, single-source solution for our clients.”
