Abu Dhabi has unveiled its latest bid to attract more family offices to its asset management industry.
The Emirates Family Office Association (EFOA) has launched at the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).
The launch was led by ADGM chief executive Dhaher Bin Dhaher Al Mheiri and Adam Ladjadj, the founder and chairman of the EFOA.
The not-for-profit association aims to provide a platform for international and local family offices to exchange ideas.
The launch was partly inspired by the much-anticipated transfer of wealth in the coming years.
“The establishment of the first association for families in the UAE is an important step for the family office space in the GCC and worldwide, and we are delighted to see the appetite for collaboration among family offices from all corners of the globe,” said Ladjadj.
