Abu Dhabi has announced the opening of a crypto hub to support the growth and development of virtual currencies and digital assets.
The Abu Dhabi Crypto Hub will be housed in the emirate’s international financial centre, the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).
The announcement was made at the Abu Dhabi Finance week, a series of events under the banner of ‘Crypto Abu Dhabi’.
It also comes after the ADGM issued licences to several prominent crypto players.
This includes social investing network eToro and crypto exchange Binance.
