Lion’s Head Group announces organisational changes

Emerging market-focused fund manager Lion’s Head Group has announced a major reorganisation of its operations.

Co-founder Christopher Egerton-Warburton has resigned as chairman of the group and will depart once regulatory approvals have been met.

He will become managing partner of Lion’s Head Group Partners, a spun-off firm that will focus on healthcare and development finance activities.

The new business will be headquartered in London with a second office in Jordan.

All other parts of the group will continue to be run by CEO and co-founder Clemens Calice.

“Today, we have reached a juncture at which we believe we can achieve more as two firms, each with the commitment and drive that enabled Lion’s Head to achieve all it has so far,” said Egerton-Warburton.
