A UAE-based fintech has agreed a joint collaboration with Emirates Development Bank (EDB).
Based in Dubai, Investopia is an investment platform backed by the UAE government.
The agreement will focus on mutual opportunities in the new economy, according to a statement issued by both firms.
It is also evidence of the growing number of collaborations between tech platforms and traditional investment firms.
The commercial alliance has also been timed to coincide with Investopia’s annual investment conference which is due to take place in March.
“There are many similar areas and sectors that both Investopia and EDB are focusing on such as technology and healthcare, and this would help Investopia’s investment community discuss and identify investment opportunities in vital sectors,” said Investopia CEO Mohamed Naser Al Zaabi.
