Tanja Ferri has been appointed as head of operations, risk and product management. Based in Abu Dhabi, she will be focused on the group’s private markets platform in the Mena region. Ferri was previously a managing director at London-based consulting firm Laven Partners.

Stephane Masini has been named as head of key clients, Mena where he will be expected to expand the coverage of family offices, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, government and semi-government entities.

The appointments come after Azimut announced record global profits, including a 55% year-on-year increase in consolidated operating profit of US$778 million.

“We are committed to replicate our business model in the UAE and we are investing to broaden our capabilities in both areas of products and sales,” said Giorgio Medda, group CEO and global head of asset management.
