PIF bolsters executive team

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) has expanded its executive team with a trio of appointments.

The sovereign wealth fund has named three senior directors to newly established business units.

Eyas Al Dossari and Omar Al Madhi will both serve on the Mena investments division, formerly the local holdings investment division. Al Dossari will lead the investment advisory function while Al Madhi will co-head direct investments for the business.

Meanwhile Abdullah Shaker has been appointed as senior director to what was formerly the corporate finance division and is now the global capital finance division. He will lead the capital finance advisory and planning department.

The PIF has seen its staff grow from 40 in 2016 to over 1,100 while assets under management are currently around US$430 billion.
