Northern Trust has announced changes to its valuations platform for clients in the Middle East to cater for the Sunday to Friday working week.
Sunday returns can be calculated for clients with Mena-based mandates and portfolios.
The custodian can provide two separate views of client performance for both the Mena and global working weeks.
According to Northern Trust’s Investment Risk and Analytical Services group, the developments will enable Middle East-specific performance analytics to be “reported with greater depth of analytics and timelines for local markets”.
“As we support our clients’ investment strategies, we see they increasingly require asset servicing solutions that are aligned with their working week and time zone,” said Michael Slater, head of Middle East and Africa, Northern Trust.
