Natixis Investment Managers has appointed Suhail Albaz as an executive managing director and regional head of Middle East, Africa and Central Asia.
In the new role, which will be effective from October 28, Albaz will be responsible for leading the firm’s institutional, wholesale and family office businesses.
He will be based in Dubai, reporting to head of international sales and marketing, Oliver Bilal.
Prior to his appointment, Albaz spent nine years at Columbia Threadneedle, heading up its institutional and wholesale activity in the Middle East.
Albaz began his career as an analyst with Mashreq and has also worked at Sinogulf Real Estate Investments and Abu Dhabi Investment Company.
