Maples Fiduciary opens in ADGM

Specialist investment services firm Maples Fiduciary has extended its Middle East presence after opening an office in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

Maples Fiduciary, part of the Maples Group which includes law firm Maples & Calder, has been operating in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) since 2008.

The extension of its offering to ADGM will further enhance its “geographic footprint and ability to service clients doing business locally and in multiple jurisdictions” according to the company.

Maples Fiduciary has also appointed Netherlands-born Norbert Neijzen as regional head of fiduciary, Middle East where he will be responsible for promoting the firm’s Middle East strategy in both the ADGM and the DIFC.

These changes comes less than a month after Maples Group relocated two if its Dubai offices to a larger single location, also as part of its Middle East expansion plans.
