LGIM appoints head of Middle East

Noareen Raja has been hired by Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) as the asset manager’s new head of Middle East.

Raja will be responsible for building LGIM’s relationships with asset owners and investors in the region.

She replaces Anais Faraj who has left the company after three years and will be based in London, reporting to Sarah Aitken, LGIM’s head of distribution.

Prior to joining LGIM, Raja was at JP Morgan Asset Management where she was a member of its sovereign sales group for nine years, dealing with a number of sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and central banks across the Middle East.

“We’re delighted to have Noareen joining the team; her energy and experience will be invaluable as we continue to build relationships and deliver high standards of service to our clients in the region,” said Aitken.
