Investcorp bolsters US private equity team

Private equity searchBahrain-based alternative asset manager, Investcorp, has named Nicholas McGrane as managing director of private equity North America.

The new appointee is expected to lead the Investcorp’s post-acquisition activity in the region. Based in New York, McGrane will report to David Tayeh, head of private equity North America. Investcorp has recently built up its US property portfolio which now is worth approximately US$2 billion after the October purchase of 32 industrial properties. Prior to joining Investcorp, McGrane was chief financial officer healthcare services provider, Evolent Health. He was also managing director and a founder member of alternative asset manager, MidOcean Partners. “We look forward to benefitting from [McGrane’s] expertise as we continue to invest in and grow portfolio companies in our targeted services-oriented sectors, which we believe offer greater resiliency and attractive growth opportunities in the current environment,” said Tayeh. © 2020 funds global mena
