Masdar Green Real Estate Investment Trust (Reit) has appointed Apex Group as its fund administrator.
The Abu Dhabi-based Masdar Green describes itself as the first Reit in the region to invest exclusively in sustainable real estate assets.
The fund, managed by Masdar Capital Management Limited, is based in the Abu Dhabi Global Market and its portfolio comprises four residential properties worth roughly US$260 million.
Apex will work alongside UAE asset manager Emirates NBD and Masdar Capital Management which will provide management services for the fund.
“We look forward to working in partnership with Apex as we build a track record for the Reit, providing prospective investors with full confidence in the administration of the fund as they look to invest in sustainable real estate assets,” said Anthony Taylor, senior executive officer, Masdar Green Reit.
